Gai Rayner

Gai Rayner has lived in Hargraves (one of the Mudgee Region’s rural towns) for more than 3 decades. She made the move from Penrith and never looked back. She began painting silk after seeing a demonstration at the Sydney Show, and was instantly attracted to this craft. She followed her new passion and after various workshops and training she became an instructor.

Tie dyed singlets Gai is married to a superfine wool producer, so it was inevitable that she would eventually be painting wool Рstill with the same products.

Jams and RelishesGai also produces all the locally made jams and relishes sold within the gallery. Over the years she has won numerous prizes at local shows for her products so we are delighted to have them available for our customers. This year’s hit with the family was Fig and Balsamic Chutney to serve with cheese (although it was so good the family ate it all!!!). We will put in an order for more next fig season.

If you love Gai’s necklace, scarves and clothes but cant find exactly what you want, come in and chat to Gai about a personalised order.
